The Let’s Colour Walls of Connection is an initiative betwee AkzoNobel and Masterpeace Masterpeace- an award-winning global non-profit and non-governmental peace movement that aims to mobilize people around the world to use their talents for peace building.
Walls of Connection works on turning walls intended for separation of communities, neighborhoods, cities or countries into walls of connections by bringing the community together to paint those walls.
The project splashed and transformed 150 walls across the world transforming them into beautiful symbols of connection and mobilizes local communities to create inclusive vibrant communities.
The initiative enables the two partners to contribute to two of the United NationsSustainable Development Goals focused on creating sustainable cities and communities and forming partnerships to achieve those goals. (video)
